All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee. Psalms 145:10

Cherry Brandstater is the missionary who has a heart to bring worship as warfare to these children. I asked her what it was that the Lord put on her heart that was bringing her to Swaziland in Africa. This was her reply.
Swaziland has the highest per capita AIDS in the world. This has left many villages with no one over the age of 15 - so 10 year olds are taking care of 6 and 2 year olds. They are hopeless and without help unless someone comes to their aid. My heart goes out to them. Dr. Elizabeth Hynd started this orphanage 5 years ago and came to my home to speak with a group of people about the vision God had given her for the home. We helped her to raise some of the money to build the orphanage and some of us have been supporting children there ever since. Recently, Elizabeth asked me if I could come over and help her for awhile. She believes that God will be using Swaziland and many of the children who come thru New Hope Centre to be the pulpit of Africa to break the grip of the enemy on the land. What better way to do this than thru prophetic praise? Elizabeth used to work with Jackie Pullinger (Author of Chasing the Dragon) for 10 years in the walled city of Hong Kong and now has a powerful vision of deliverance for Africa.
More and more God has been talking with me about getting out of my own comfort zone and going beyond what I have envisioned up to this time. In some ways I almost fear going, knowing that He may be calling me to stay - but if that is the case, and He makes it clear, I would do so. I have always taught and mentored children and love to do creative things with them. I want to teach them skills that they may also be able to use to raise money for the expenses of the operation of the orphanage such as jewelry-making. I'm taking supplies to do that while I am there as well.
When I first saw the masses of people that come to the Reinhard Bonkke meetings in Africa I was overwhelmed with the belief and promise that somehow I would someday be involved in a movement there as well. I love the passion of that servant of God for the people of Africa. His ministry has always been a role model for me. I have had many words spoken over me that I would be ministering in Africa - but the most important word that has been spoken to me is from the Holy Spirit Himself to my own heart.
Out of the mouths of babes He has perfected His praise!
